Pater Noster

Program Note

I wrote this piece to participate in the “Francesco Siciliani” competition for Sacred Music. In the 2014 edition, composers had to set the entire text of the Pater Noster. I was inspired by the “Mass for Double Choir” by Frank Martin while creating my particular harmonic sound and developing the final section with a beautiful counterpoint divisi section.

Pater Noster is kindly dedicated to my dear friend Federico López.
